David McAuley's architectural practice in Guelph spanned several decades. Under his leadership, his firm designed many key landmarks and community buildings in the city, such as the YMCA, the Salvation Army, and the Humane Society. His work on community buildings and centers of worship has spanned the province. Additionally, David was a founding member and architect of Guelph's first co-housing community, Watershed Cohousing, (pictured above) where he currently lives and works. David is passionate about community focused and collaborative models of housing. He brings his considerable experience and passion for community and sustainable design as an advisor to Gauthier Architecture, and as a community advocate.
